Independent artists can participate in this new trait economy by proposing new traits to an NFT team.
The steps looks like this:
Go to the collection's store
Select the Collab option
Follow the collab guidelines for official dimensions and rules
Create the art for the new trait you want to introduce to the collection
Submit the trait on the collab form
The form will require information regarding payments you must fill out as part of your collab request.
Reviews
The team is notified when there are new collab requests and will review collab submissions, they can either approve or deny artist collabs.
Should teams approve an artist collab, the new trait will be moved into their inventory where they can schedule it for a drop.
Artists will be notified of collab outcomes and sent information about the upcoming drop.
Commissions
Traitify facilitates all artist collabs and automatically distributes payments to teams and artists during the drop. We are essentially facilitating onchain commissions for TNFTs.
